Ordering & Lead Times

How far in advance do I need to order?
We require a minimum of 14 days notice for all custom and event orders. Standard menu items may have shorter lead times — please reach out to confirm availability. Rush orders (less than 14 days) may be available depending on our schedule and are subject to a rush fee based on order size and complexity.
How do I place a custom order?
Use our Order page to submit a custom order request. Include as much detail as possible — event type, desired date, quantity, flavours, dietary needs, and any design inspiration. We'll review your request and follow up within 24–48 hours to discuss details and provide a quote.
Can I order weekly menu items for same-week delivery?
Featured menu items are baked fresh each week. Availability varies, so we recommend ordering as early as possible. Contact us at info@tsismis.ca to check current availability before placing a weekly menu order.

Delivery & Pickup

Do you deliver, and what are the delivery options?
Yes! We offer delivery throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Pricing starts at $45 and varies by location and delivery window: • Standard Window (9am–6pm): $65 • Morning Window (9am–3pm): $38 • Custom 3-Hour Window: $150 For locations outside the GTA, delivery options are limited and the menu may vary. Please contact us to discuss.
Is pickup available?
Yes! Local pickup is available. Once your order is confirmed, we'll coordinate a pickup time that works for both of us. Pickup location details will be provided with your order confirmation.
Do you deliver outside the GTA?
Deliveries outside the Greater Toronto Area are handled on a case-by-case basis. Some menu items may not be available for long-distance delivery due to packaging and freshness requirements. Please contact us at info@tsismis.ca to discuss your needs.

Pricing & Payment

How is pricing determined for custom orders?
Custom order pricing is based on size, complexity, ingredients, and timeline. After submitting your request, we'll provide a detailed quote before any commitment is required. A deposit (typically 50%) is required to confirm your order, with the balance due before delivery or pickup.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Interac e-Transfer and PayPal. Payment details are provided with your order confirmation. A deposit is required to secure your booking for custom and event orders.
Are rush order fees refundable if I cancel?
Rush order fees are non-refundable once baking has commenced. We'll always communicate clearly before proceeding. For non-rush orders, cancellation terms are outlined in your order confirmation. We recommend reaching out as soon as possible if your plans change.

Custom Orders & Events

What types of events do you cater to?
We love being part of your special moments! We regularly create custom orders for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, seasonal and holiday celebrations, character-themed parties, and corporate events. No event is too small — reach out and let's make it happen.
Can I schedule a consultation to discuss my event order?
Absolutely! For large or complex orders, a consultation is highly recommended. Use our Contact page to submit a scheduling request with your preferred days and times. We'll reply with three or more time options that work for our schedule.

Dietary & Allergens

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! Gluten-free, nut-free, vegan, and other allergen-aware options are available for custom orders with sufficient notice (minimum 14 days). Please note that while we take allergen requests seriously, our kitchen is not a certified allergen-free facility. Please advise us of any severe allergies.
Are your standard menu items nut-free or gluten-free?
Some items are naturally gluten-free or nut-free — these are noted on the menu. However, our kitchen handles gluten, nuts, dairy, and eggs regularly. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us to discuss before ordering.

Where are you located?
Tsismis is a home-based bakery serving the Greater Toronto Area. We don't have a storefront — all orders are placed online and fulfilled via delivery or coordinated pickup. This keeps our overhead low and our quality high.
How can I follow your latest creations and weekly menu updates?
